Journey of a Groningen Girl
Malcolm Jones is a Sydney artist, who works mainly on paper using charcoal, pencil, conte and pastel.... along with works on canvas in oils. Malcolm is a figurative artist of models and singers... his style searches for the personal character in both his drawings and paintings, resulting in a distinctive style.
Malcolm is largely self taught, although has done an intensive drawing course at Monash University, Department of Fine Arts in Melbourne, Victoria.
Malcolm has also been associated with the Brandling Art Society for the past 15 years, attending their studio weekly, for both life Drawing and Painting sessions.
Malcolm has small coterie of supporters both in Australia and Europe.
Additional work completed, includes theatre sets, paintings to be included in books, and murals for schools.
