Journey of a Groningen Girl
Reborn in Billitonstraat, Groningen!
This short film was again taken in 2004 on our initial trip to the Netherlands, to find the street and house, Anneke was born in.It was here that Anneke was born in 1942 on the kitchen table. Luckily, the occupant let us in to take a look! It was a tiny place and I was rather amazed that 5 children slept here, as the room was no bigger than a postage stamp!! Nell Jones
