Hi everyone,

Well its been a busy start to 2014. I had my 50th birthday bash in Newcastle and a great time was had by all. In March I started my Masters/PhD program with Newcastle University and have been working with Australian poet, Keri Glastonbury who is supervising my novel, A Token For Perry. All very exciting and a lot of work, but very rewarding. Another event planned on the June long weekend 6-8th at Addison Road Community Centre, Marrickville Sydney with my father Malcolm Jones and Louise Beck who are be part of the Art Market, exhibiting in the Stirrup Gallery, with an exhibition of latest works with others from the Brandling Art Society. I will be there too, performing some street theatre and poetry from the Sky Is My Religion. Poetry books will be available for sale. Look out for me dressed as a French Art Thief!! Hope to see you there.Later this year I am hoping to visit Victoria for some more research for my novel to further develop the book. It's a busy year and I hope to have some more events planned in the near future. And I hope some of you are able to join in with the Dylan Thomas 100 celebrations who is one of my greatest influences and loves. Early next year there will be a production in Sydney at the Opera House of Adventures in the Skin Trade. There has been another movie made by the BBC called, A Poet in New York and lets hope it is screened in Australia! Dylan is played by Tom Hollander and Caitlin Thomas, by our own Essie Davis. There are a few things happening in Australia over the next months to celebrate the life of Dylan, who is probably the 20th century's greatest english speaking poet.Until then happy reading. Enjoy.
