Late last year, the Australian writer Libby Hathorn and I, worked on an article about the Evening of Keats Art and Poetry. It reflected on the event created in the Woollahra Galleries to celebrate Keats work and the 200 years since his death. Artists were asked to reflect on his poetry and create artworks from a chosen poem. The review is below published today on Australian Children's Poetry website. Enjoy.

I am very excited to begin my Writing Residency at Lighthouse Arts at Whibayganba (Nobby's) Newcastle next week at the cottages situated below the Lighthouse at Newcastle. I have six weeks to work on the sequel to A Token for Perry. This new novel will be based on the life of Joseph Lycett, convict painter residing at his governors pleasure in 1812, right here in Newcastle. I have been rather busy these last weeks working on A Token for Perry, my new novel but have the great privilege next week, in teaching a full day workshop for some young writers in Newcastle at Redhead through the Department of Education.
