International Dylan Thomas Day May 14th, 2022

Hi Everyone,

This year I was selected again to submit a poem based on the Welsh poet, Dylan Thomas for International Dylan Thomas Day 2022.  My poem, In Ceremony of a Fire Raid Past, was published as part of an official and yearly event published on, Vatsala Radhakeesoon's,( poet and Artist) blog page, as part of the celebrations of Dylan Day on May 14th. I am very glad my work has been supported by Vatsala who is an artist and writer based in Mauritius. The blog and event are supported by the organisers of Dylan Day, Hannah Ellis who is the grand daughter of Dylan Thomas and Lidia Chiarelli who started the art/literary movement, Immagine and Poesia founded in Torino (Italy) in 2007, with Aeronwy Thomas, Dylan Thomas's daughter. Every year International Dylan Thomas Day is celebrated worldwide on 14 May .

I would like to thank Hannah Ellis, granddaughter of Dylan Thomas and Lidia Chiarelli, founding editor of Immagine and Poesia for inviting me to conduct this event on my blog for the third time.
