I am very excited to begin my Writing Residency at Lighthouse Arts at Whibayganba (Nobby's) Newcastle next week at the cottages situated below the Lighthouse at Newcastle. I have six weeks to work on the sequel to A Token for Perry. This new novel will be based on the life of Joseph Lycett, convict painter residing at his governors pleasure in 1812, right here in Newcastle. The novel will centre around Patience Perry from the previous novel, but Lycett is the inspiration.…
